The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is the national tourism agency and an accredited non- departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), and trades under the name of VisitBritain/VisitEngland (VB/VE). The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is a global organisation with 300+ people based in 19 different countries.
VisitBritain/VisitEngland is the national tourism agency. Our role is to drive immediate tourism recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic by building back visitor spend as quickly as possible and supporting the industry.
Main purpose of the role
To manage the implementation of our internal and external stakeholder communications strategy across all channels, raising the profile of the importance of English tourism as well as building and maintaining our reputation among opinion-formers, decision-makers and industry stakeholders, alongside our employees.
